Dear All
This blog is to discuss issues of the final project. Please contact everyone in the group to log onto the blog and read the comments as they come through, this being the first one.
Normally, we'd have started by now, and you'd be continuing with the prep work. I hope we can still do that, even with all this delay.
1st: The content of your projects.
Try to begin again from where you left off. Try not to change whatever was your plan, as written in the journal synopsis. (Remember that during the prep project you all shared an interest in drawing, painting, printmaking. The route of this is that your thinking has tended to relate very closely to the medium. That's what I saw and remember from the presentations.)
2nd: How to approach the work.
Deliberately work small, and keep the work small-scale until we get back to the studio. Make an issue of this. Work in a sketchbook or on small loose paper. Be as exploratory as you would be with larger materials, and see this as preparation. You can move you ideas a lot further on like this.
3rd: Sharing your work
Can you post visual work on this blog? If so, post the work as you do it.
